NYSAP offers its assistance globally. We have provided consultation, training, or research assistance in more than twenty countries and U.S. territories.
NYSAP has assisted many countries to develop translations of the MAYSI-2 into 19 languages for clinical and research use in their juvenile justice systems.
Since 2010, NYSAP has assisted several researchers and clinicians in Europe to perform cross-national and cross-cultural research on behavioral health problems of youth in their juvenile justice systems. This collaboration produced a consortium known as the International Forensic Screening and Assessment Network for Adolescents (InForSANA). It offers its members and other behavioral health/juvenile justice researchers several resources for collaborative, comparative research across nations and diverse cultures.
